1. You need to set up an account on FamilySearch.org. (This is a free genealogy site)
2. You will have to input your family tree as far back as you know it. Hopefully you will link up to people who are already in the system.
3. Get the Relative Finder program, which will link up to FamilySearch.org
4. You can check out how closely related you are to a few famous people in the system, like Presidents, scientists, a few celebrities, etc.
