First Name: (Notice, I capitalize my name!) Bett Last Name: Huffaker Period: 7 Book Title: Louisiana Longshot Author's Last Name: DeLeon Author's First Name: Jana Genre: Cozy Mystery/Humor Hook: Fortune Redding is a CIA assassin who blew her cover and because of a suspected leak in the CIA, she is in hiding in a small town in Louisiana. She gets involved with a murder investigation with the help of some elderly ladies who are much more than they seem. Trying to apprehend a murderer while keeping within her cover as a Librarian and former Beauty Queen is not easy! Reason for Recommending This is a hilarious look at culture clash with clever dialogue and characters that I really enjoyed. It is the start of a series of books and honestly I have loved all of them. In Valencia Library? No, you will have to look elsewhere.
